Qormi HC Reserves increase lead at the top

Qormi HC Reserves beat Rabat by 4 goals to nil in Monday’s match which opened up a 4 point lead at the top of the table.  Rabat played most of the match a man short and Qormi took full advantage by scoring 4 first half goals.  In the first half Qormi were playing some great Hockey with Zahra and Micallef linking up well for the latter to score two of the goals.  The other goals were scored by Calleja following a thunderous hit from the edge of the Dee and from Sarcia who powered the ball in from a short corner move.  In their next match Qormi will face Sliema on the 12th of March.  Hockey in Malta, Field Hockey
